This bait has proven deadly on striped bass, cobia, largemouth bass, musky and a variety of other gamefish. This pre-rigged version is available in 3 sizes from 8 – 16 in. in a variety of top color patterns, and comes rigged with an integrated top hook and a secured bottom treble hook. To begin, I want to clarify that we were not actually fishing for catfish on Lake Guntersville. However, that is the type of fish we ended up catching. The catfish decided it wanted to get tangled up around the bottom of the pier so my friend jumped in while I tried to maintain the pole and get it on the dock.. needless to say, I caught the catfish and I caught her in the process. It's hard to beat the excitement of a 12-pound catfish, but what's really entertaining is trying to hold it with the hook still in its mouth and In someone's hand. We laughed about it all night long. We gave a couple teenage boys a story to be able to tell for a long time too. This lure really delivered, and then some, giving us a fishing story we'll be able to tell for years to come.
