Savage Gear rods are covered by a limited one year from date of purchase by original owner warranty for most failures due to manufacture defects.
We encourage our retailers to exchange the rods within the first year and we will credit the retailer or ship them a replacement within the next order.
In the event a rod submitted for warranty is out stock or discontinued, Savage Gear will generously find a comparable replacement or issue a credit.
No Rod will be considered for warranty repair or replacement without proof of purchase. Due to high instances of parallel and self-importing, this guideline will be strictly adhered to.
Warranties can only be approved by Savage Gear Americas. To make a claim, whether they be warranty or faults, the product should be taken to your local dealer or original place of purchase. Important: We must receive the section of the rod with the model number on it, description of the problem you are experiencing AND a completed Rod Warranty Form to process your warranty claim. Proof of purchase such as a receipt from an AUTHORIZED RETAILER* is a requirement for all warranty claims.

Accidents happen. Car doors, hatches, ceiling fans, or damaged from transporting. You deserve a reward for being a loyal customer and we have a program to replace your damaged rod. We know most breaks aren’t defects, and we believe you should have an option to replace your favorite Savage Gear rod at a reasonable charge.
Replacement Plan is 50% off retail. Please contact us at [email protected] with the Subject “Savage Gear Replacement Plan—Pricing” for a quote on the rod(s) you need to replace.
We recommend that you send the product to us through a US Mail carrier, this can be done quickly and affordably. Be sure to keep the tracking number so that delivery can be verified if necessary.
You must have the 6” section of the rod handle with the model number intact. We do not need the entire rod for any Savage Gear Replacements. Also, include a completed Replacement Claim Form.
