    Works on Calico bass

    Dropped it down to the bottom. Bounced it a couple times and then WHAM! Pulled up a nice calico bass. Only thing is the plastic got pretty tore up after one fish. Otherwise would have given it 5 stars.

    Albacore tuna killer

    This is the sh@t for albacore tuna fishing with a spinning rod!

    Absolutely Incredible Bait

    We were introduced to Savage Gear during a trip to Kodiak Island at Kodiak Legends Lodge a couple of years ago. I was immediately impressed with the 8" 5 1/2oz Sandeel jig, as in slack current, I was able to fish it down as deep as 200'. This was a 'White Meat trip' and literally everything ate this jig. Usually on the drop! We caught Halibut, Ling Cod, Gray Cod, Yellow Eye, Black Rock Fish.........Everything. It was impressive. I was hooked and bought more on arrival home.

    We also fish West Coast Vancouver Island every July. On our trip this year the Opal Squid were still spawning and I guess the Ghost White color looked similar. On the first pinnacle we fished, my wife fished the Ghost White and I tried everything else and it was amazing. She was typically bit immediately on the drop. Lings, Cabazon, Black Rock Fish, and released Yellow Eye. I got bit too, but it was maybe 10 to 1 in her favor. She just sat there and smiled.

    These jigs are a great product and the fish love them. I will always have them on board.
